The hotel's location by Checkpoint Charlie is strategic and rich in history. It is surrounded by public transport options and many attractions.

I have searched for a couple of weeks in order to find a good hotel for my 2 nights stay in Berlin. I have found that this hotel had the best price/location ration. The value for money was excellent. Very good breakfast, walking distance to Charlie CheckPoint, Friedrichstrasse (the shopping street), Museum Island and Unter dem Linden (the most famous boulevard in Berlin). In addition to this, you had a couple of subway stations nearby from where you can take the subway to Zoo Garden and East Side Gallery. Brandenburg and Bundestag is 15 min walking, a beautiful walking. It was great that even if you stayed practically in the center of the city you can also enjoy a quiet night far from the loud noises.

For, us, a young couple, this hotel was great. We have stayed in different hotels in different cities. Just to write something as a complaint.....we can point out that the hotel is placed in a building and the reception is at the fourth floor. Even if somebody can find this a problem, the hotel compensates through its services, comfort and breakfast.

The room is very simple, with the minimum. No air conditioning, being summer it was really hot inside the whole hotel. Breakfast is poor.

This place is practical, budget-friendly, and has a comfortable bed, with a great location close to an underground station.

The curtains didn't completely cover the window so light came in from outside.

The hotel is nothing fancy but for the price it would be hard to beat. The rooms were of adequate size and they were clean. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The location is close to all the major attractions. Even though we are in our mid-50s and I have a prosthetic leg, we were able to walk everywhere. We stayed at other hotels and B&Bs in Germany during this trip and the free breakfast at this hotel far exceeded our expectations.

The hotel is on the 4th and 5th floors of a building with other businesses (all respectable) on the other floors. The elevator goes to the 4th floor where reception is located. Not that this was a real problem but it was not something I expected from the online info or pictures.

Large breakfasts with sausages and caviar. Outstandingly accommodating staff. - Perfect and excellent location for my purposes.

Spotlessly clean and unique hotel, views are marvellous, location is ideal close to the center...

Rooms are modern and well-equipped with a comfortable double bed and a sofa.

Breakfast with beverages, a decent toaster plus caviar. Practical and budget rooms with 1 double bed and a balcony plus dining table, delicious breakfasts❤

Extremely cold...very very cold...I Practically wore a winter bonnett and thick socks to sleep while using 2 blanketts with comforters...

Perfect for Berlin centre, bus tour stops etc. parking a problem but staff more than helpfull with parking carnet. Breakfast exceptional.

Noise at 7am emptying large waste bins in central courtyard.
